Jake is the newest addition to the accounting team and is handling all our payments and invoice verification. So, if you have a question about a bill, you sent us, Jake is your guy! Known for his witty one liners and collection of Dad Jokes Jake will keep you laughing. If you really want to get on his good side be sure to let him know that you think Martin Brodeur is the greatest goaltender of all time and that Scott Stevens wasn’t a “cheap shot” artist but rather just a hard hitting fundamentally sound body checker.

Danielle is probably involved.  Always knee deep in the layout of another catalog or project, Danielle has become a vital member of the team over the last few years.  When Danielle isn't trying to dig out from the "to do" pile that Tim keeps putting on her desk, you may find her practicing for her next gingerbread house making competition or enjoying another reading of the Truman Doctrine while scanning On Demand for fresh new documentaries on American history.

Lucas Greenhouse is one of the primary trialing facilities on the East Coast.  Working with many of the worlds leading breeders Jay is in charge of our extensive trialing area along with being responsible for a large portion of our finished crop production.  When he is not figuring out what to plant or what needs watered you most likely will find Jay prepping for the next fantasy football or baseball season, hoping that "this will be the year" for Chicken Package Funk.

Garett applies his skills in our young plant department overseeing all unrooted cuttings coming into our facility and leading our team of growers in implementing our crop management strategies making sure we give our customers clean, toned, and ready-to-transplant liners. After Garett makes his long trek home there is a good chance you may run into him at a trailhead getting ready to bag another peak. You may also find this self-proclaimed Keith Moon in his basement banging on the drums and keeping up the neighborhood.

“Junior” is a new addition to the staff here at Lucas. A recent grad of Rowan University, the junior Mecke is preparing to take the lead for all things tech here at the greenhouse. Although, we have yet to see him wear a suit jacket or matching track suit to the office so he must have some training still to complete. When he’s not rebooting the server or troubleshooting after our latest Picas upgrades you will probably find Steve down at the shore enjoying the sun.

George and his wife Louise are the owners of Lucas Greenhouses.  Starting the company back in the late 70's, George is still heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the company.  You will often find him running around the greenhouse in an old t-shirt and ripped jeans.  If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact George.  When he is not at the greenhouse you can usually find him either on his boat or enjoying a day of golf with family.

The next generation at Lucas Greenhouses, Nate is learning the ropes from his father (George) all while chasing around 4 little ones (with one more on the way) and 3 dogs at home. Nate has taken the lead on many of our building projects over recent years while handling much of the purchasing. When Nate isn’t at the greenhouse or dealing with scraped knees at home, he can most likely be found trying to convince his friends into playing a game of Axis and Allies, serving on the local township committee or out on the course enjoying his first love, golf.

Tim Priore is man who has no need for a GPS or any other type of fancy thinking box.  With the mind of an elephant, he leads our shipping department, always finding a way to get you that last minute delivery on time.  If you have any questions on when your order is coming, or if you have any special instructions for your delivery, he is the one to contact.  When he is not routing a truck or finding a backhaul, you can often find Tim P. snuggled up watching Seinfeld or listening to Stryper, with a handful of Chips Ahoy and a full glass of milk.

If you have a question concerning a pre-finish order or a liner order Lori is the one to get a hold of.  When she is not entering an order or double checking some numbers you can often find Lori poolside with her grandkids or grabbing her favorite cup of coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.

She is a key member of the Young Plant Department verifying counts and keeping our rooted cutting inventory live and accurate online. When she is not making sure plant counts are accurate, printing tags for the millions of incoming cuttings, or locating plants in the greenhouse, you can probably find Monica fueling the party running her longtime DJ business.
