Alyssum lobularia maritima 'Easter Bonnet White'

Sweet Alyssum

Unsurpassed for its early season carpet of color, Easter Bonnet White is covered with an abundance of fragrant pure white dainty flowers with green eye. Alyssum makes for an excellent choice as a border plant because of its tidy, compact, uniform habit.

Height: 4-6 Inches

Spread: 10-12 Inches

Color: Green, White

Growing Tips for Homeowners:

If you like low maintenance plants, then alyssum might just be your ticket! Alyssum is  a fan of prolonged dry periods so be sure to water regularly, especially if considering many utilize it in containers on borders where plants tend to dry out faster. Alyssum is not a plant requiring loads of feed so a pre-applied granular slow release fertilizer along with a periodic dose of a well balanced complete liquid feed should suffice. As blooms begin to fade, don't lbe afraid to cut the plant back.  They will rebloom quickly and this will help keep your alyssum looking tidy.
